If you’ve been wanting to start a Substack page, but you’re overwhelmed by the technicality, what to write about, and how to get yourself paid, this is for you.

In addition to running my own Substack, Human Feelings, I also work with a handful of other clients on their Substack accounts. And because I absolutely love the platform and what it offers to writers, I want to bring my knowledge of getting going on Substack to YOU.

Here’s how Substack in a Week works:

You pick a week where you are ready to DIVE FULLY IN and get going. Throughout that week together, we will:

  • Do the basics of setting up your Substack, including welcome emails, importing current newsletter lists (if you have them), talking about paid strategies, learning how to intrepret your Substack dashboard, etc.,

  • Create your Substack graphic assets, like profile photo, welcome page, designing your Substack “website”, and anything else you might need,

  • I’ll walk you through what each piece of Substack is for, like how Notes are best used, what you might want to use Chat for, and what the heck a Thread is,

  • We’ll brainstorm a month of content together, because consistency is key, we’ll come up with a schedule together that best fits into your lifestyle and then we’ll talk through what you can post in that first month.

And then I’ll set you loose so that you can explore all of the magic that Substack has to offer!

Total investment: $425, with the option to split the payment into two.

“I reached out to Sarah for assistance with migrating my newsletter and email campaigns from Mailchimp to Substack. I appreciate her diligence in providing a checklist of all that needed to be done. She was quick to respond to all of my questions and provided clear explanations about how to navigate the functionality of the new platform. Her ability to write in an honest and approachable voice, helped provide a framework for all of the different pages and communication for the transition. I'd recommend her for any Substack assistance!”
